For many years I’ve been asked to help with the New World Symphony percussion audition – although stressful and a bit nerve racking, the New World Symphony administration and I have had great success inviting fellows to be a part of the orchestra that have gone on to win major orchestra positions. We have a fantastic track record!
The latest winners are:
Jay Ganser – Cleveland Institute of Music/DePaul University
Rajesh Prasad – Northwestern University/Manhattan School of Music
Shaun Trubiano – Manhattan School of Music

It features numerous spaces for performance and presentation; a flexible and variable seating performance hall, and a 7,000 square foot projection wall on which concerts, video art and films will be shown free-of-charge to audiences in Soundscape, a 2.5 acre public park, designed by Dutch architectural firm West 8.
