Announcing the 2011 Interlochen Percussion Institute – last year was such a success, we are doing it again this year!   This year’s Artist line up is spectacular and again offers a wide variety of learning – Danny Gottlieb (Drumset – Lt. Dan Band and University of North Florida), Jake Nissly (Orchestral – Principal Percussion, Detroit Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra Fall 2011), John Alfieri (Concert Percussion – Interlochen Arts Academy), Valerie Naranjo (West African Percussion – Saturday Night Live Band), Tim Adams (Timpani – University of GA, formally with the Pittsburgh Symphony), Ji Hye Jung (Marimba/Solo Percussion – University of Kansas).  Take a look at the 2010 videos to get an idea of the wonderful percussion week we had last year – this year is going to be fantastic as well.
