Bill Shaltis was our first guest artist for 2015/16!  (photos below).

Bill presented a fantastic multi-media clinic & masterclass that focused on timpani tuning and ways to get those drums sounding right on the mark!   Bill will be presenting this same class at the Midwest Clinic in December.   LINK:   http://www.midwestclinic.org

Students also played for Bill – Hochrainer and Goodman etudes, orchestral excerpts and a Firth Solo.   Bill finished his class with a new timpani solo (with piano) called Ghoul Theaterby Casey Cangelosi!
