Boston Conservatory students, once again, played an amazing percussion ensemble concert. The program was directed by faculty members Sam Solomon and myself. The program included: Pattern Transformation by Ligeti, Music for Pieces of Wood by Reich, Omphalo Centric Lecture by Westlake, Foreign Objects by Bergamo and Sam’s newest composition, Quintet for Drums and Cymbals.
