Interlochen Arts Academy Fall Guest Artists December 15, 2015

This semester was amazing as we had some of the foremost percussionists in the world visit the Interlochen Arts Academy. Check out this Interlochen article about Jean Baptiste and NanaFormosa’s class. Bill Shaltis, timpanist of the Boise Philharmonic, presented a fantastic class on timpani tuning.

J. Delecluse passed – a great Loss to the Percussion World

On Thursday, October 29th, 2015 we had a great loss to the Percussion World - J. Delecluse passed away.  On October 30th, the Interlochen Arts Academy Percussion Ensemble played the first line of Delecluse #1 in tribute followed by a moment of silence. Photo above
