I had the opportunity to visit with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Percussionists – Cynthia Yeh, Patsy Dash, Jim Ross and Vadim Karpinos. I visited the percussion room and thought I would share photos of some of the great instruments they have. They just happened to be playing Mahler 6. so I was able to photograph some of the unusual instruments they use for that piece.
