I recently had to rent 3 tuned gongs for the Vaughan Williams’ 8th Symphony.   (BTW, I rented them from New York Percussion Service, who had super service!) – when the gongs came they had this system for suspension onto a boom stand – it was EXCELLENT!   Link to this is HERE.
