The crotale mounting systems for Rain Tree by Takemitsu – the piece requires two sets of three crotales mounted.   It’s not difficult to make a mounting system, however, FINDING the correct hardware took a lot of time.   Here’s some info to help out.   Note, rubber washers are in the plumbing section!   I spent an hour walking around the store looking for them.   I used 1/2” plywood – screws might have to be longer if you use thicker plywood.

Washers for over:under the crotale (in the pluming section!)

Hardware for mounting – #12 – 24×2”

Counter sink screws under board . I used 1:2” plywood

Finished – Zildjian makes the low A and B

Use clamps to mount boards on flat music stands
