The Interlochen Percussion Institute 2013

The 2013 Interlochen Percussion Institute was a great success!    Faculty members John Alfieri and director Keith Aleo, pictured above with the students – also, guest Artists Rob Knopper, Jauvon Gilliam and Ed Soph.   In addition, there were two guest Artists earlier in the week – Julie Hill and Casey Cangelosi.   Christine Augspurger, a current graduate student at the Boston Conservatory, served as the Percussion Assistant.   The Interlochen Percussion Institute is a diverse educational learning experience for HS age students.   In addition to clinics and masterclasses, each student plays in the percussion ensemble.   The ensemble plays a full concert at the end of the week.   Keep a look out for next year’s Interlochen Percussion Institute!
